ziti vs. rigatoni

ziti vs. rigatoni: What's the difference?

Although ziti and rigatoni are both tubular pastas, they have slightly different shapes. Ziti is smaller, straighter, and usually smooth. Rigatoni is larger, with a bit of a curve and a wider opening, and usually comes with grooves in the sides that help the sauce stick to the pasta.
