Largs Regatta in 1892 will long be remembered; it was no flat racing, but real steeplechasing in the Clyde.

It was used for both flat racing and steeplechasing, and the steeplechase course was more than two miles in length.

During the flat-racing year I have given a hundred-and-fourteen selections.
