It is one of the four PGA tournaments that are considered major tournaments, along with the Masters, the US Open, and the Open Championship.
The PGA Championship is part of the PGA Tour, a year-long season of professional golf tournaments. However, despite its name, it is not the final event of the tour. It is a 72-hole tournament. The location of the event changes from year to year.
