The Rostock Police said in a news release the two zebras escaped early Wednesday from a circus near Tessin, located in the northeastern part of the country.
The runaway beast was one of two zebras who escaped from their cages when the travelling Circus Barlay pitched up at a new location in Tessin in north-east Germany in the early hours of Wednesday.
