In men, hypersexuality was traditionally called satyriasis, while similar behavior in women was described as nymphomania.
Erotomania (satyriasis and nymphomania), or abnormal exaltation of the sexual appetite.
A further degree of sexual hyperæsthesia is called Satyriasis in man, and nymphomania in woman.
