After the release of a trifecta of episodes of “Bluey,” fans of the Australian children’s TV show about a family of blue heeler dogs are speculating about what’s next for the characters and the series.

It comes just a week after the premiere of the 28-minute special “The Sign,” which sees Bluey, a Blue Heeler puppy, and her family celebrating a wedding while grappling with an upcoming move to a new city — only to make the decision to stay.

“We want to make sure everyone can enjoy the parks, whether or not they have a dog,” said MacInnes, adding that another pup, a blue heeler named Smoky Joe, is now part of her family.

Among the dog-themed mailbox owners are Shannon Orr and Melanie McAllister, who are welcomed home by two versions of their blue heeler: the tail-wagging bundle of energy who jumps on furniture, gives wet kisses and barks at the doorbell, and his tubular twin, who spends his days collecting the couple’s mail at the side of the road and greeting those who pass by on their way to Fort Ward Park.

The show, which follows the adventures of Bluey the blue heeler puppy, has become a sensation across the world - including in Britain since it first appeared on our screens two years ago.
